Samsung Wearable Concept Smartphone is cool
Some designers think out of the box and Erik Campbell is one of them. He has gone ahead and designed the next gen smart phone which is innovative and futuristic at the same time. This is a bracelet phone from Samsung which is a wearable mobile device concept relying on memory alloy articulation. It is aimed at adventure freaks, athletes and techies from across the world.

It comes with OLED touchscreen display, a tactile keypad and split pad design for improving air circulation and removes sweat from hands. This is an amazing phone which offers on the go communication. It is an all in one solution for making calls and tweets at the same time. The good thing is you can also use G Talk and YouTube while you are on the run.

It is an amazing concept and I hope it ends up in the market soon so that it can adore my wrist.

HaptiHug: Wear your emotions on your chest

HaptiHug: Wear your emotions on your chest
Check this - a motorized haptic device has been created by Japanese researchers which enable you to experience real time virtual hugs by physically reproducing pressure felt on chest and back when somebody gives you a hug or squeeze.

HaptiHug garment included in the I FeelIM system uses software for extracting emotional meaning from written text and passes it on to one of the haptic devices which react accordingly.

Take for example, the speaker enabled HaptiHeart which gives out palpable heartbeat like patterns for evoking anger, fear and sadness. The vibrating HaptiTickler and HaptiButterfly, worn around the stomach leads to feelings equivalent of being nervous. HaptiShiver and HaptiTemper heightens fear emotions by sending shivers up and down the spine of the wearer with the help of vibrating motors and produces spine chills through fan blowing cool air.

With distances keeping us apart, it's only the virtual world which has enabled us to come closer and share our emotions.

The new lyrics could be: the man machine creature things surround him (the picture and much more concert pictures from Jan Moesen) [...] Read More

A breakthrough in nanotechnology - that is more important for techwear then ever before: chemists from the University of Arkansas announced the first 3D-form from nanomaterials.
