Tweakfest is a two day conference about cyber culture in Switzerland. Walter Hehl from the IBM research lab was talking about computer in ten years and how they may look like. One of the interesting things was that he said mobiles succeded over wearable computing. And that mobiles are in fact wearable computer. This way wearable computing is dead. And what he ment was the machine type of computer you have to haul around.

Later on he talked about that computer become tinier and more powerful. So he had ubiquitous computing in mind. That way round he just agreed to what i call the second more practical wave of wearable computing. With elements like mobiles (allways on, communication, network); networked technologies (see web 2.0) and practical use (like in medicine).
