There are still some 40% who not use the web. Even many of the 60% who use it don't use it daily.
These "always-on" technologies are one of the foundations for wearable computing. So the question where we are with the mobile internet will answer one of the questions when wearable computing becomes a mass-market.
ZDNet gives a current review:
After years of hype, wireless users in the United States are waiting for all the technology pieces to come together to make surfing the Internet from their handsets as easy as it is on their PCs at home.
