The health mirror - a social diet interface
Filed in archive Cool on May 19, 2006
Want to know how you look in 6 month? The Persuasive mirror - a mirror collecting information from webcams, fridge use or time spend on the couch to calculate your future weight. An interface to your habits.
What it misses? Personal body information from your PHA (personal health assistent).
When users then look at their "reflection" in the mirror it will project an image of how their face and body will look in the future based on their current habits.
Martin Illsley, director of the research facility at Accenture said: "We monitor the individual's habits in terms of diet and exercise and whether or not they smoke or spend much time in the sun, and by focusing on the face and body visually project how he or she will look in the near future.
