The idea behind the ISWC Student Colloquium is to offer expertise opinion and help to new students and researchers that want to contribute to future wearable computing research, at the main annual event for the field: the International Symposium on Wearable Computers (ISWC).
The ISWC Student Colloquium welcomes work from a broad range of disciplines and approaches that inform wearable computing, including computer science, engineering, textiles design, sociology, cognitive science and other related fields. Results of experimental or theoretical evaluation are not a prerequisite, since the aim is to encourage the presentation of novel ideas, including recently started PhD proposals, and offer tips and pointers to drive the work towards full-paper quality research.
The Symposium will be in October this year. If you want to submit your research and future visions read on here.
