Check this, a gadget to take care of your heart. Polar WearLink+, a wearable heart rate monitor is worn around the chest. The device picks up heart's signals and transfers data into the Nike+ system. It comes with a soft textile chest strap which adapts to the shape of your body and offers full freedom of movement during training. It even includes a hook mechanism so the transmitter is easy to put on and off. Coded 5 kHz transmission is used so that heart rate signal is found out by Polar training computer.
WearLink+ records heart rate which is sent to the Nike+ kit and is uploaded on NikePlus.com to track against other statistics. With it one can track distances, burnt calories and compare with statistics of other people.
This is a machine washable textile strap with water resistant connector and user replaceable battery. It also offers compatibility with other fitness watches of Polar and is priced at $70.
