Nominations for WOW
India announced it's nominations for the World of Wearable Art (WOW).

Rathi Vinay Jha, Director General, FDCI while announcing the names of the selected designers said, "The FDCI is proud to be able to take Indian fashion global through this association with the Montana World of Wearable Art. We are hopeful that these unique, Indian creations will further strengthen India's position in the global fashion and art arena."

Narresh Kukreja & Shivan Bhatia, two of the nominees, said that it is a great opportunity for the first time in the country as the event will allows a designer in the true sense of creativity to explore the boundaries of his creativity which is very important for a designer today to be able to transcend that experience in the minimalistlinks manner in his design which gives a product a kick in the market to sell.

WOW® is a two hour show held annually in September in Wellington*, New Zealand to an audience of 30,000 per season. First shown in 1987.
A WOW® Awards Show can be difficult to describe, hard to define and utterly impossible to forget. A montage of theatre, dance, color, movement and art, simply put, the WOW® Awards Shows are theatrical spectaculars.
