The second IFAWC (International Forum on Applied Wearable Computing) was held in Zurich some month ago. Some of the presentations are available now.


One of them gives a great overview of the biggest european activity wearIT@work. The application focus is on firefighter Assistent, Maintenance Supporter, Production P.A. and Clinical Pathway. One of the Missions 2008 is to "Establish the Open Wearable Computing Group (OWCG) as standardization body in the area of wearable computing". The presentation also talks about the partners, the organigram and the wearable computing approach.
