To do so the umbrella needs a localisation technology and the capability to go online and download

Sounds a bit too hightech for such a task ;-) I mean - how about a look outside your window? And - will your umbrella oneday become a conscious mind? "Good morning stupid - it's Florida, you can leave me home!!!"
