You can now download the C-Lab report about wearable computing in the maintenance sector (16pages, german).

C-Lab is the Cooperative Computing & Cooperation Laboratory – works in the area of research and development and safeguards its transfer into the market. It was founded in 1985 by Nixdorf Computer AG (now Siemens Business Services GmbH & Co OHG) and the University of Paderborn.

The report is mostly about maintenance and gesture recognition. One example is the airbus project in toulouse – where the largest passenger airliner on earth is build.
