Can you Wear Your Antivirus Software?

The idea of wearing technology might sound strange, but it's becoming a reality. From dresses that have phones built into them to other phones that you can wear on your wrist like a bracelet, there aren't too many things technology can't do. One of the problems with this wearable technology, though, is that it can make the people who wear it vulnerable to attack – not physically, but electronically. Just like a computer, which will probably soon be wearable, too, these items can be hacked into. If you want to protect your clothing and accessories from hackers, you'll have to make sure you have good antivirus software.

If technology can be built into clothing, there's no reason why the capacity to protect that technology can't also be built in. As things move along and more options become available, computers that get smaller and more portable will give way to wearable computing options. These will require software that protects them from harm, just like larger computers do today. The idea of wearable computing is one who's time has come. People multi-task so much today, and they're very busy. They can't always carry everything that they need with them, but if they can wear it they can take it along much more easily.

Think of the possibilities when it comes to travel and business applications. Wearable computing and other forms of technology could become the norm in just a few years, allowing people to free up their hands so they can greet others, handle presentations, and otherwise perform normal, daily activities. They wouldn't have to carry a lot of things around, but they would still have all they needed when they arrived at their destination. That would be a great way to travel, and would cut down on things like fees for baggage on the airlines.
